As far as the appearance is concerned, electric vehicles look like conventional vehicles. However, there is one significant difference: electric vehicles don’t have a tail pipe. Although, electric and conventional vehicles look quite the same, there are many other differences that make electric vehicles truly unique.

In a conventional vehicle, there is a gasoline tank where the fuel is stored. This fuel is used to run the vehicle. An electric vehicle, on the other hand, doesn’t have a tank. Instead, there is a battery that supplies the electricity required to move the vehicle. This battery needs to be recharged regularly. In a conventional vehicle, gasoline engine provides the force to move the vehicle. In an electric vehicle, there is an electric motor that provides the force to move the vehicle.

Two of the other main differences include:

  • Conventional vehicles require a lot of maintenance. Right from frequent oil changes to exhaust system repairs, there are many things that have to be taken care of with precision. This is not the case with electric vehicles. As an electric vehicle has just one moving part (electric motor), it is easy-to-maintain. Be it electric motor bikes or electric cars, all types of electric vehicles require very low maintenance.
  • Electric vehicles are not just cheaper to maintain, but they are also more energy-efficient. As a result, an electric vehicle owner can save a lot of money over a period of time.

All these differences provide an edge to the electric vehicles. With more and more people realizing the advantages of using electric vehicles, the demand for these vehicles has been surging significantly. In recent years, automobile manufacturers in India too have come up with numerous electric vehicles that have already gained popularity in the market. Electric motor bikes offered by Hero Electric are becoming increasingly popular all around the country.

In these times when global warming has been posing a serious threat to our planet, choosing electric vehicles is one of the most effective ways to reduce air pollution. Electric motor bikes and other vehicles run on electrically powered engines and are completely environment-friendly.

Hero Electric is one of the most renowned names in the Indian electric two wheeler industry. The company has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility based in Ludhiana. They offer a wide range of Hero two wheelers in India. With its highly-efficient and economical range of two wheelers, Hero Electric aims to promote the use of green energy all across the country.
