Hero Electric announced its partnership with Gurugram-based startup Zypp Electric to change its last-mile deliveries from petrol to electric vehicles. Zypp Electric aims to deploy an initial fleet of 1000 e-scooters in the next five months and intends to electrify 100% last-mile delivery by 2025.
The partnership:
Under this partnership, an initial order of 1,000 customised NYX HS500 ER B2B scooters has been placed for catering to Zypp Electric’s business consumer base across major cities.
The solution:
Zypp Electric chose Hero Electric’s Nyx Series (HX variant) that offers a range of up to 150km per charge. We want to help Zypp Electric in their endeavour to electrify 100% last-mile delivery by 2025. Our aim has always been to offer a holistic solution to our B2B partners who want to better their operational efficiency and reduce logistics cost. Not only that, we will also provide end-to-end service support through our dealer network along with a dedicated relationship manager for maximum uptime.
The impact:
We will aid Zypp Electric in their efforts to completely electrify last-mile delivery by 2025. Our new Nyx-HX series will ensure that our partners have better speed, suspension, batteries and warranties which are important for any delivery business.
The word:
“Hero Electric came forward with a great proposition and customisations that we were looking for in e-scooters to serve our partners better with speed, suspension, batteries and warranties which are key to our business. The new Nyx is a great product for commercial purposes.
