Hero Electric announces the 2nd edition of ‘One Race’ in Chandigarh

Hero Electric, India’s oldest and largest E2W company, announced the second edition of the ‘One Race’ in Chandigarh. The ‘Sewa’ inspired run marathon promotes inclusivity of all participants beyond the feeble barriers of caste, creed, religion, sex, and race. The event highlights Hero Electric’s mission of ‘No Emission’ to promote electric mobility to curb air pollution and build a sustainable environment. The One Race Chandigarh pays tribute to athletic legend Milkha Singh, India’s most prolific runner, the only Indian athlete to win gold at 400 meters at the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. The Chandigarh run will be flagged off from Chandigarh Club on Sunday, November 20, 2022, consisting of 5 KM, 10km, and the most popular Half Marathon race.

The press conference was graced by Mr. Naveen Munjal, Managing Director, Hero Electric; Major D.P. Singh, Kargil war veteran, India’s first Blade runner, and Asia’s first disabled solo skydiver; Mr. Chandeep Singh, India’s first Para-Athlete from Union Territory of J&K; Mr. Amar Chauhan: 80 Year Legendary long distance Runner from Tri-city; Mr. Sahil Gill: Winner of Hero Electric One Race Jalandhar Half Marathon. Hero Electric unveiled its best-selling scooter, Hero Optima, the award prize for the male and female winners of the half marathon. Additionally, the race day T-shirt and medal we unveiled at the conference by the dignitaries.
